This is me :)
Helloooo :) I just wanted to give you all a brief little me speech! Just so you know who I am and stuff. I honestly don’t really like talking about myself but I think it’s important if you’re taking the time to read my stories and look at my pictures/interests that you know somewhat who I am. I’m seventeen almost eighteen I love basically anything creative writing, drawing, painting, funky hairstyles, etc. I believe that happy endings are a must and everyone should view their life like a faitytale. That being said I know not everyone has a perfect life and after college I want to start my own non profit to help those in need het their happy endings.
Always Running… Ch.1
*click**click**click* Your heels hit the concrete in rhythm. You’ve never run this fast in your life and it you weren’t so terrified you’d be very proud of yourself for doing it in heels. Your breath is shallow and raspy and it is coming out of your lungs hard and fast. You can feel the tightening in your chest and your breath has wheezy quality to it. You know you don’t have much longer before your asthma takes over. Ugh if you could just find the bloody staircase! You check over your shoulder but all you see are a couple of guys exiting Lulu’s cafe. They look at you like you are an exotic bird that just fell from the sky and smacked into their car window. It’s as if they are curious and intrigued but also sympathetic. They look at you with a pity as if they are thinking, “who is this poor girl clad in the satin purple dress running awkwardly alone down the street?” Maybe if you screamed they’d understand you were actually in danger. But what good would that do you? Plus mustering up the breath to let out a convincing scream was nearly impossible judging from the pain in your chest and the thought of it made you wince. Instead you focused on the steady rhythm of your heels. You felt one of your curls come loose as you rounded the corner and you could help but feel a little disappointed Your sister had worked so hard to make you feel beautiful and now you weren’t going to get the chance to show off her creation. The thought left a small ache in your heart. Or at least you thought it did. It was hard to tell if it was that or the enormous excursion your body was going through. You were running out of time but as you rounded he second corner you saw it. The large clock tower. You began to sprint up it’s steps. You were so close! You made it about halfway before you heard the noise. It was terrible. Rusty, metalic. The screeching ring it had sent shivers up your spine. It’s pulse quickened and suddenly the clanky battering seemed deafening. You looked up to see the helicopter just before it lunged over the building and went hurling towards the stairs. You flew. You don’t know how or why but suddenly your feet and legs were moving faster than ever and you couldn’t even remember making a concious decision. It seemed like you were running forever, but it was only seconds. You saw the explosion before you felt it. Burst of color, oranges, reds, violets, struck your vision and before you knew it you were airborne. Nothing was connected to the ground and you had a sickly feeling of weightlessness, but you knew gravity was about to take over. The fall was eminent and the heat was already unbearable.

Hey :) I really like your writing style. You're so descriptive in your writing. Here's something to think about though, you might want to continue on a bit more in the story before stopping it. Leave the story on a good cliff hanger so you leave your readers with something to expect in the upcoming stories without giving everything away. Oh and on another note, I write mine on a word document first so that they don't accidentally delete. Cause I would just be heartbroken if that happened :P Yeah I realized I needed it to be a bit longer…. But I was so frustrated about deleting the first story I was a bit discouraged :( But thank you so much that means a lot! And great advice I will definitely do that next time!!!! :)
Just wrote my first fanfic…
Tried to send it and tumblr glitched and erased the whole thing… I think I might cry
Once Upon A Time…
Probably my favorite phrase ever… I doubt you’ll believe it but I actually started my college essay with that phrase. I just see the world through my own fairytale. I believe everyone deserves a happily-ever-after and the only way to get there is by living by the optimism and magic found in fairytales <3 If I stay positive and keep faith my prince charming will find me :]
“I look at your face and a cascade of butterflies erupts inside of me. Their wings create a melody emulated by the fluttering of my heart as it beats faster and faster until it threatens to jump out of my chest… As I stare into the beautiful abyss that your eyes create I see the other half of my soul. I have found my haven my perfection. Now if you could only find me…”

A Moment’s Fantasy…
My kettle is on the stove heating the water for my lovely cup of tea. A merry fire chitters away in the fireplace, and I sit curled up in an enormous sweater staring out the window at the rain. This is the perfect environment for day-dreaming, and I let my thoughts wander… A stone house with a wide porch surrounded by rolling hills of an everlasting green. I lay swaddled in flannel sheets the color of honeysuckle. My husband comes in and hands me a cup of tea in my favorite cherry red mug and kisses me gently on the forehead. The rain outside is torrential but I am safe and warm.
The Rain…
The way it trickles down my window creates a masterpiece. The thunder cracks and then a chorus of raindrops applauds it. I sit on the warm carpet of my living room curled up by the fire dreaming of my one true love…
Food For Thought…
Why do we force ourselves into mundane routine and only give ourselves the dreams of sleep as an escape? If you let your life be as crazy as your dreams…. Where would it take you? |
